Construction software: projects, jobs and progress under control

A single view of sites, bills of quantities and work-progress states, built around how your firm actually works.

The challenges of running a Construction business

In construction the numbers settle at the end of the job, and too often they don't add up. Bills of quantities in a spreadsheet, progress states rebuilt by hand, labour and machinery noted on paper, safety documents scattered across email and folders. We build custom software that holds sites and jobs together, ties real costs back to the estimate and surfaces the margin before the job closes, not after.

The bill of quantities is accurate at tender stage, but on site it drifts and no one updates the estimate: you learn the real margin only when the work is done.

Progress states (SAL) are prepared by re-reading paper site reports and emails: hours of work, measurement errors and disputes with the client over billed quantities.

Labour and machinery are charged to the job from memory, so you can't tell which job is eroding costs and which one is holding up.

Safety documents (site plans, compliance certificates, training expiries) live in separate folders: you find they're missing when the coordinator or inspector arrives.

What we build

Site and job management

One record per job with budget, actual costs and progress. Labour, materials and subcontracts are charged to the right site, so the margin updates as the work proceeds instead of only at closeout.

Linked bills of quantities and progress states

The original estimate stays tied to the quantities actually executed. You generate work-progress states (SAL) from site data, with a revision history, so billing to the client is traceable and defensible.

Labour and machinery tracking

Crew hours and equipment use are logged from phone or tablet right on site, with photos and notes. Costs land on the correct job without the round of paper reports and double data entry.

Safety and documents always at hand

Site safety plans, compliance certificates, training records and expiry dates collected by site and by person, with alerts before they lapse. No more scrambling for a document when it's needed on the spot.

Custom or off-the-shelf?

If you run a few standard jobs, an off-the-shelf construction package may be enough and cheaper. Custom pays off when you have many sites running in parallel, complex job accounting, subcontractors, or you want estimates, progress states, time tracking and invoicing to talk to each other instead of living in disconnected modules. Often the best answer is hybrid: keep the tools that already work and build custom only for the parts the package doesn't cover.

How much it costs

A first focused module (e.g. labour tracking or progress-state management) typically starts from a few thousand euros; a fuller job-costing platform with integrations grows from there. We agree on a narrow initial scope and widen it only when it adds value.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on how many processes you cover: a single module (time tracking, progress states) costs far less than a full job-costing platform with integrations. We start from a narrow, fixed-scope build and grow module by module, so you invest only in what the site actually uses.
